Teleflex or Ultraflex?

Hi Does any one know which is best steering system for my 4mt Searider Teleflex or Ultraflex? Is there any difference in quality or are they both the same. And are the helms the same size? I am looking to replace the helm and cable. Engine is Mercury 50hp O/B.

Just replaced an Ultraflex helm with a Teleflex Safe-T Quick Connect 3.5m on my 4m Searider, much better quality, like night and day. The teleflex was slightly bigger, but comes with a much bigger bezel so I was able to shift the hole a bit. Search for teleflex for more details.

what length cable are you looking for? i have a complete new helm and cable kit , i have had to use hydraulic steering so its surplus

Hi Markg.
I want it for my 4 metre Searider, the cable I am using at the moment is Ultraflex. It say on it Ultraflex M 58 11 ft. So I imagine it means it's 11 foot long. I am guessing the helm is also Ultraflex, there is no info on it, just some numbers.

My original Ultraflex was 11ft, the 3.5m cable fits perfectly.

this will be too long its a 16ft one
