Speed! 14' RIB

Hi,
I've bought a Noruvania 14' rib with a 2 stroke yamaha 50hp! Now I've stored it for winter but the seller told me he would get 38km/h with it at top speed! I find that to be very low and I would thought almost 50kmh? Maybe he is saying 38mph?

What speed do you get for a setup like this?
Thanks

RIBase
38mph seems like a much more reasonable number, probably will be mph, especially if you're in Canada

38 mph is 33kts which seems reasonable.

38kmh is only 20 knots, which is way less than you sould get from that set up.

It would be very unusual for anyone in the US to use KMG

^^^^Can't see an American giving you kmh.
Simplest solutions would be to contact them & clarify or to give it a WOT run yourself.

I would guess mph as well. My old 14' SIB with a 40 would do better than 38kph if it was flat enough to run that fast.
