Screen fitting

Hi all.
Just ordered a screen to fit to console,
will slightly wrap around side, going to fit onto console without a frame,
going to use set screw, cup washer, plastic washer through screen & console with washer & nut on inside, will this be good enough or should I put something between screen & console.
Thanks Mick.

That's how mine attaches, no seal or anything.

RIBase
You could use some well nuts. They are quite often used for motorbike screens to allow for a bit of flex between the screen and the console.

There’s a strip of neoprene tape between the screen and console on mine..... don’t know if it’s doing anything but does seems to stop build up of green slime you sometimes see on this area....

The same with my 9m Ribtec, has some sort of foam/neoprene tape between the screen and console, and then screws/cup washers.

You might find in a sea state that you grab for the screen edge which could easily break it. I think it is a good idea to have a grab rail around the screen edge for this situation...
