Scorpion Best Riding Rib? Whats Second?

Everyone seems to agree that the Scorpion is the best riding rib out there, ie comfiest through a chop. But what is the second best? or better still the top 5 best riding ribs out there in the 7.5-8.5 metre class?

I have a Tornado 7.5 and while its very good in large waves, it doesnt come close to the scorpion sea trial i had at rib ex. I just wish Scorpion would make them a bit tuffer looking? Like a model with a High bow model & chunky commercial looking tubes.

I had a Scorpion 8.1 and it does ride well...My Cougar rides just as well with an extra 10 knots on top.......

I tested an Osprey 7m and that rode really well. The real question is which Rib rides better than others at what speed.?

Do they?

My RIB cuts through a chop as if it's not there - you come off a big wave waiting for the slam and it just doesn't happen. A very deep V - a heavy boat and 8.8m must help a bit I suppose.

No secret at all.

It is a Prosport built in Guernsey. It is a Revenger hull clone with a much wider beam ABOVE the waterline and a fuller bow section tube.
