RIB USAGE IN CONTINENTAL WATERS

I HAVE A 7.8 M BALLISTIC RIB THAT I'M TAKING TO THE MEDITERRANEAN (FRENCH COAST) FOR 3 WEEKS THIS SUMMER, APART FROM OBVIOUS INSURANCE NECESSITIES IS ANYONE AWARE OF ANY ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK/LICENCE NEEDED TO OPERATE A 225 HP 7.8 M RIB IN FRENCH WATERS ?

To the best of my knowledge you will also need proof of ownership/purchase (e.g. copy of the bill if you bought her new) and an ICC (Int. Certificate of Competence) from the RYA. Also think its advisable/neccessary to have Small Ships Registration (SSR). Will ask around and try and confirm to you whether this is the case.

Unless John you know different?

Also your radio licence...for a radio specifically registered to the rib.
