RIB Insurance

Have asked the RIB net insurance companies for a quote but does anybody else have any other good insurance companies for commercial RIB insurance that quite happily cover the carraige of passengers, see if i can get a quote from them.

Cheers folks.

Ali.

Have just gone throuh the process for my new RIB. My old RIB is a 4 metre, and that is insured with Armada of Worcester. However, they were not competetive for my new RIB. Mardon have given me the best quote by far. They advertise in the BIBOA magazine and do a specialist RIB package.

I did try the CIs and others, but they dont really seem to understand boats - and I wonder what the service would be like in the event of a claim?

Their contact details are:

www.mardon.co.uk or 01743 232688 or post@mardon.co.uk

Hope this helps

I tried to get a quote of RIBnet insurance - they won't quote me because i'm under 25 and they will not insure a RIB if on a camp site.

I have 2 ribs and I insured the first one with Mardon and then I went to them to insure the Second boat, by this time I was more switched on. I found P.I.c. To be very good and the cheapest by far. i needed to use the after sales service and they were really good about that also.

they get my recomendation hands down

cheers
Stuart

Hello

Just catching up with the forum. It's even better now that I know some of the people behind the names.

Does anyone knows the PIC website, I've tried www.pic.co.uk but it's incorrect.

Thanks,
