Noob No More!

Completed my Powerboat Level 2 yesterday with Tim Griffin - hurrah!

Excellent course - I particularly enjoyed Tim's thorough approach to traditional navigation and chartwork.

Coming back from the Hamble to Osborne Bay in an F6 at 25 knots was quite an experience for someone used to the Broads. I am assuming my b@ll@cks will eventually drop back down from my armpits!

Good work fella!

Congratulations !

.....Consider doing the day skipper course ( evening classes for one year ) get some ribbin' hours in and go back and see Tim for Intermediate then Advanced Course ! I liked the way Tim planted "seeds" in the ol' grey matter , then made you go out and use 'em .

Think I will do the Dayskipper.

Yesterday whilst flying off the top of nice white waves in F6:

Tim: '. . .isn't this fun. . .'

Me: 'Dunno, me b@ll@cks and kidneys have changed places, I haven't been able to focus my eyes for several minutes and my arse is hanging on to the jockey seat entirely by clench-power alone. . . . .'

Strange thing is, I began to enjoy it!
