New Cover

My long awaited (and needed!) cover arrived last week and I am amazed at the fit and quality - especially given the use of technology where I was more accustomed to the paper template. Digital scan, CAD & CNC cutting - its seems the clever work of a machinist is still in human hands ;-)
Given the price difference, if Louie at Quayside had still been doing boat covers I would probably gone to them. That said, the material is better and all seams are doubled and marine stitching is used (apparently from new it swells when wet and makes the seams watertight)

It has certainly been getting a test over the last week !!

That’s good as I’ve got them in mind for my new one. I’ve seen their work on boats at York marina.

Looks good

I need a new cover .....current one weighs a ton and not designed to be put on on a dock.

My criteria are:
Must fit around A-Frame / engine, as on a dock needs to secure along the rubbing strake: needs a solution around the stern: not to bulky / heavy. Not much I know

Bradford far too far away, any suggestions for Gloucestershire / South Devon or points between?

The belly straps are 2" webbing - wick quick release clips each side of the cover . Nicely finished with retainers to secure the loose end after tightening.
The cord around the hem is nylon / polyprop 6mm rope which I think is the only part I think is cheap - adequate but I am planning to change it for 8mm braid on braid

The hem cord on mine is bungee which seems to work well.

It's a very nice looking cover.
