Natural upgrade from Revenger 715?

Just starting to think about changing my rib for something bigger - she is a Revenger 715 with 150 Evinrude DI. Boat / motor are 13 years old but pretty much like new (not exaggerating!) and has been fantastic for the last few years in my ownership but now with 4 kids of my own + all their mates wanting to come out doing doughnuts etc I'm hankering after something a bit bigger / faster.

I'd still like to be able to trailer it about although I have a summer mooring so only really need to trailer from storage to the mooring and being used to trailering the current rib + a twin axle caravan I'm not put off by trailering a bigger boat.

I don't have a clue where to start looking. I was drawn to my current boat as she looks fabulous and also the build quality. I'd like some serious horsepower next so am thinking 8m+ with twin 250 or suchlike.

Any pointers / suggestions / tips very welcome.

Have you thought about Scorpion ribs ?, they are solid ribs that will go throw any sea state and look stunning as well

Do like the look of those Scorpions actually - (Serket 88 .. oooof!) but also the Revenger 29.

Notice a lot of Scorpions have hydraulic (?) trim tabs on the back even at the same sort of length boat as mine, but mine does without any obvious trim tabs at all. What is the difference, hull shape?

Yes most scorpions have trim tabs to help with the bow in head seas etc ,they work a treat .we have trim tabs on 7.8m scorpion and that works well .it also helps as they sit out the water and can become twitchy if your not careful
As you can see from photo below that one is flyingClick image for larger version
