Helping with a Sailing event

Hello Ribnet!

I have a strange request from a friend who is on the committee of West Highland Yachting Week.

For as long as I can remember the event has had a redbay 11m cabin rib help out as the fast boat in the fleet but unfortunately this boat and it's team could possibly be unavailable due to other engagements.

The committee of the regatta are looking for a suitable cabin rib for all weathers to help out as a general safety and support boat. No mark laying involved but its a week on the west coast of Scotland starting in Craobh, then Oban then Tobermory

Some knowledge of regattas/racing would be ideal. The boat could also be used for timekeeping at marks with some of the racing commitee onboard.

It starts off the 28th July until the 4th of August. Normally I would step in however I am a competitor and I can't do both!
