Good service - Lindon Lewis and EP Barrus

Evening all,

Just wanted to give a bit of credit to Lindon Lewis Marine in Shepperton, particularly Tom the outboard mechanic and EP Barrus for going above and beyond to help me with our engine!!

Bottom line one of engines developed a fault and they said the ECU was FUBAR! The delivery time for the new ECU was 6-8 weeks and it was June! Fearing the season was down the pan I asked if they could sort us anything and ....... tadah.....loan ECU arrived 3 days latter and summer saved!!

Today they have just put the replacement ECU back in, whilst I wait and Tom spent ages with me discussing the set up and things to keep an eye on. Bottom line I feel well looked after as a customer and much happier with the choice of engine we went for.

I suspect some of you on the south coast enjoy this service all the time but on the Thames most places concentrate on 25hp Hondas for pottering on the River so it was nice to discover LLM had mechanics who had done all the courses, particularly for a recently released engine and experience doing big stuff!
