Fun RIB for on the sea?

Hi all, looking at getting a new RIB to play around with on the sea,
Will be going out just to have fun so want something fast but light for getting up and down the beach, had a searider in mind, but been looking at zapcats and they look insanely fun, we would be taking it out on the English channel though so don't know how well they would handle big waves, any suggestions on baots that fit the bill?

A zapcat and a Searider are very different boats. Zapcats are certainly capable in big waves, but only with a competent helmsman (and ideally a crew). you say a new rib... What's the old one / what's your experience?
