floatation v fishing suits

i am interested to hear your views about the best suit for ribbing in.
would i be best buying the floatation suits or a imax fishing suit.
i dont plan on being "in" the sea, just on it, so warmth would probably be my main concern
which do you think would be best ?
thanks in advance
james.

No experience of imax fishing suits.

We've used Fladden flotation suits for the last three years......approx 3000 mls mostly west coast and islands round Scotland.
Delighted with them.

Have just bought an Imax ARX20 fishing suit, I think it'll do for fishing but it's not made of tough material like a high-vis jacket

Trousers are jacket are warm, hood bit stingy in material where it velcros around the face/neck. Will do for shore fishing where I'm static a lot of time

Wasn't sure to go floatation or this, warm was a priority. Would've been nice to see all short listed suits floatation/thermal but London lacks that shop!

not that impressed with the imax stuff we got the blue and white smock type thing it fell to bits the cuffs are poor quality and the zips are crap go for the fladden stuff but I would recommend the 2 piece one as its easier to strip off to go to the pub
