I agree with Stuart best to contact your Insurers and at least make them aware of what your duties will be . I don't think it will be a problem but if the worse happened at least they have agreed upfront that your covered oh and get it in writing.

If anybody wants to lend me (trusts me with...) their 6m+ rib, I'd be more than happy to help out.

Also, should have available in Portsmouth 2 spare rooms by then (well, fratton actually) as will be renting a 3 bedroom house, with housemates off for summer, so if anyone wants a place to sleep, they are more than welcome.

James

Ian, great idea ICOM sponsoring us with a daily rum ration to get the day off with a bang

Wots the dress for dinner? presumably its black tie, or mess dress with medals for retired peeps. Should be okay under the dry suit

Jason, being a poor charter boat skipper I will work for anyone for cash, absolutely no scruples, now must brush off that CV for David or Tim

Pete

Well Pete, being mere civilians I think that our motley crew will have to wear best dickie bow & daps. If you are an ex military cove, I suggest a trip to Thieves & Hawkes in Saville Row for a new number 1 uniform would be in order.

Now which way does one pass the port?

Ian.
