Did the BIBOA West Country cruise happen?

If so, any photos, reports etc?

Yes thanks.......

Despite crappy weather and mechanical gremlins. Seven boats (at times) over the weekend. Bashed out way to Fowey on the Saturday into a F4 S/W. Lunch at Fowey and a couple of boats went on to Mevagissy whilst the rest of us went shopping, ate fudge, took in the sun and eyed the rising wind with a degree of trepidation! Good run back to Plymouth though in a big following swell. Great fun.

Sunday was a bit grimmer (wet and windy) so after an explore of the Tamar and Devonport the Brixham/Torquay crew (Awesome, Brotwo and Cyanide) headed East whilst Magellan Alpha went back to Falmouth, Tigershark back up the Tamar and the Essex boys (Blue Ice & Hot Ice) recovered for the tow home.

Everyone was staying in the same hotel so we had a couple of good social evenings as well.

Brian's getting a bit of complex about everytime he organises a cruise the weathers dodgy though! He is compiling pics so perhaps could post something here. Write up in the next Riblines.
