Avon Sea rider s4

What do you think of this RIB?
It's on sale at 800 euros and I intend to buy it.
Is it a good price?
Thanks to all
Mark :-)

Which trailer do you get, the one on the first pic the boat is too far on, is it the right trailer?
What are you going to do with it? If put a console on etc you might be best buying one already done as the cost soon mounts up although I did enjoy doing mine.

The price is without trailer... :-(

Do you know what materials are made up in the tube?
Hypalon or PVC?

Tubes are Hypalon, mine is a 1985 and its on the original tubes and they lose no air at all.
I paid £1300 for mine with engine and trailer.

RIBase
Look closely at the transom-it looks a bit swollen to me as though it's very wet inside, though it may just be the picture.

I'd chalk that down as a bad one and keep an eye for another.

The certificate of homologation with the dercription and the characteristics . The copy of the certificate of the same kind RIB will be enough.
The problem is that in Italy there aren't RIBs like that and is very difficoult to me to see another similar rib :-( .... I love UK RIBs

That's the rear hole for the flooding hull. The last owner of my RIB had tried to use a hatch like that and I soon found it let water in at a very fast rate.

I'm afraid that the cap is concealed from internal problems.
you think is possible?

I think he means is it covering something dodgy up. I doubt it as - as has been said thats the flooding hull exit. If it leaks just rip it off and see how you find the flooding hull.

The little plug on the left is just a deck drain.
Water inside the hull won't do it any harm.
