9ft RIB planing with 8hp?
As some may know we are tossing up between getting a bigger SIB (10-11ft) or buying a similar sized RIB (9ft). A RIB any bigger wont work for our space requirements. Our current c285s SIB doesnt plane easy 2 up (gets bogged down at the back).
So are curious if the more ridgid aluminum V of a RIB will work better for us and secondary will it also work better in a slight sea (up to 2ft)?
