Can you give any more details, e.g. town? 192.com only has one business listing which is 13 Marine Avenue (Hove) Ltd and they are property developers!! Is that it?

I need to get hold of them so I can arrange for some new logo's for her (as in the photo Dan posted),I've tried Solent Ribs,Fairweather Marine and everybody else who had any dealings with my Rib.I keep coming up against a brick wall.I'm beginning to think that 13 Marine didn't really fit her out.

With all the superstition surrounding nautical stuff, who would ever call themselves 13 Marine?

What do you mean "fit her out" - everything looks like standard Solent RIBs fit-out (console, jockey seats, A-frame)... except for the logos on the tubes.

I've been told that 13 Marine had some dealings with her aswell,I thought the same as you Richard (unlucky 13) that's why I removed the stickers from the port side only to find that it leaves marks on the tubes that I can't remove.Hence new stickers required.

I had a friend who had a mark 2 Capri, he bought a spoiler from a guy who'd had a car fire and the car had been completely destroyed, 2 days after fitting his newly aquired spoiler his car also caught fire in the engine bay, he put the fire out and fixed what he'd thought was the problem, driving down to the car spares to buy a new fire extinguisher the car again caught fire but this time burnt out completely......we recon that spoiler was jinxed.....oh and the first two digits on the spoilers serial number were 13

Ask yourself would you really want to buy anything from a company called 13 ?

Disapearing off at a tangent
One of my fathers engineers bought a brand new capri (when they were new!) a week later a deer jumped out and totaled it and put him on hospital over night. The Cops went round to see his wife and carefully told her about the accident and that he was in hospital for observation over night and not to worry etc. Then asked how much space she had in he freezer - this was a bit of supprise to her ----then the other cop walks round from the police car with the rear quarter of said deer.
So you sure its not capri's thats jinxed ??

I wouldn't get too stressed over the logo marks. The Rib isn't really old enough to have much of a difference. It's caused either by Glue or the difference in exposure to UV from the sun. from the unprotected surface and that which was covered by the transfers

Also why Lee Fairweather....didn't you buy the boat from JBT can't they help you

Try Cleaning the area with Ribshine or Bostik 501 or TFR. But it will all fade into the same colour in a couple of months anyway. Alternatively you could have some logo's made up with your boat name and stick them (literally) where the sun didn't shine.

by the way when you have finished make sure you hang some fluffy dice from the A frame a la Capri! Don't worry about the thirteen number there just all trying to get you at sixes and sevens
