Sevyron pump or any others?

Have just bought our boat and am looking forward to getting started. I am thinking about getting a Sevyron 12v pump but want to know if I should also buy a spare car battery. Thoughts?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Did you mean a Sevylor 12V pump? Anyway whichever pump you mean a much smaller battery such as an alarm type or mobility scooter would be fine.

I use the scooter type battery now which I've found gives more grunt at the end of the inflate when I get to the high pressure air floor sections but a much smaller 12AH was OK before until it got over 4yrs use... and some folks use 7AH OK.
