Next steps

Hi all, long time listener first time caller! I’m a Theatre Sound Engineer in London, originally from North Somerset.

I’ve been pottering around on boats of various sizes since I was a child. My trusty “vintage” Avon Redcrest and mariner 2.5 have served me well from the car boot exploring tame waters nearly every summer for the past decade.

Now evolving my SIBing setup into something more suitable for two adults to explore a bit further afield, and looking forward to tapping the RIBnet hive mind along the way!

Just joined myself. Just bought a honwave 38ie. What a beautiful thing it is. Feels so quality. And fitted in my honda jazz with 2/3 back seats down with all the gear and a 9.9hp outboard. Highly recommend

Hi both, yes I’ve been looking at the T38, although I think it’s a bit too big for current needs and budgets... I think I’ve whittled it down to either a Honwave T32 or an Excel SD330 with a 6hp, or perhaps 9.9 secondhand... needs to be portable enough for me to deal with on my own.
