New from Whitby

Just got a used outfit, excel sd290 + Tohatsu 8hp, not yet had it in the water, waiting for wheels and pump to arrive. First venture into SIBs although had a dell quay dory for several years. Plan to fish over the summer.

Many thanks to STRAY for his advice and help last weekend before I made the buy.

Tony

Hi Tony, you don't muck about do you.
there's several launch sites and plenty of inshore ground to go at to the North of Whitby, just need the weather. Anyway glad to have been of some use. Let us know how you get on.

PS. Try not to run down any Yakkers.

When I saw the name Whitby I was thinking of the town here in Ontario Canada. We have about 2 million lakes in Canada so there's lots of boating and fishing. Anyways I got a Zodiac 1996 Projet 420 115 hp inboard from my sister and it needs parts which are hard to come by. Wondering if I should convert to outboard. Would a transom already be built in to hold the inboard and can I use it to mount an outboard? Hints appreciated.
