Hi from Blackpool
Hello, I am brand new to the forum, my current rib is a very old Flatacraft Force 5 with a 50hp Honda, and achieves a respectable 25 knots, most of my boating take place around Anglesey North Wales, I hope to contribute and receive help also.

Hi Paul and welcome from another new member here.... Where in Anglesey do you go / launch from?
I spent my younger years with family caravanning in that neck of the woods... Always fancied going back with a sib and maybe tour about... Passing RAF valley too, but know the tide goes way out there.
Cheers
Andy

Hi, thanks for the welcome, regarding Angelsey we launch at Rhosneigr, it can be a challenge navigating through the rocks but gives you access both directions to a great coastline. Definitely need a 4 x 4 to launch although just a few miles further on at Trearddur Bay is an easy launching option

I'd agree, it can be very challenging navigating through the rocks. Done it a few times, always at low tide which helps, but it's still tricky for the unwary. Trearddur is a much easier launch.
Couple of videos from last year on Anglesey
