Welcome from N.Ireland. Was freshwater fishing a few years back in Wood-Titchik State Park in Bristol Bay. Beautiful country - must be one of the last real wildernesses left.
Fished the Nuyakuk and Nushagak rivers and Tikchik Lake (love the names).
A few pics and one of a bear, at long range - where i like them to be.
And by the way the poo belongs to the bear - i think.

Well I realized it`s been quite a while and thought I`d update a bit.

All the plans came together pretty well with the boat layout and have had an oportunity this spring to have it out a few times. One leak behind the rub strake on one side that I cannot decide how to fix (needs air every couple hours).

Anywho, I have some videos to share of a couple of the spring trips this year. Hope you all enjoy...I sure did!

We use a Go Pro Hero 2 for the majority and the rest with a Sony. Weather tends to dictate how much the Sony gets used as it isn`t waterproof.

Actually, I`m Charlie but my friend Steve helps edit the vids and posts them...hence his accounts. Steve is a pretty good sport cause I don`t go easy on him running 35knots in 3' seas.

Expand the page
Click the download button
Choose the second size file in the list (SD)
It will download to your phone and is saved. Better than streaming long vids anyway.

Back in 2002 I came into Kodiak after a crossing of the pacific via Adak in our 10m RIB the Spirit of Cardiff. It was a nasty trip but made spectacular once you approach Alaska. Kevin Goulding shipped his RIB over from the UK the year before and cruised around for a month. it is a place I intend to cruise a lot more over the coming years. Alan P

Another great trip in the books

My buddy Steve and I went to Seward, Ak for a long weekend of fishing/camping. Clocked about 225 miles on the RIB in 2 day and beat the fish up pretty good.

Short video...

Hello! I am jealous...are you living in Seward? I lived in Fairbanks for 7 years, and also worked in Kenai Fjords...I miss being up there!
