Another Virgin Newbie

Hi all. Been snooping about the forums after deciding to take the plunge (well hopefully not literally) into buying a small inflatable boat.

We would be using the sib for my son and I fishing, wild camping and exploring adventures. Plus occasionally for trips with the better half and dog to inland coastal waters both in the Northeast of Scotland and over on West Coast sea lochs around Oban, Lochaline etc where my brother lives.

Minimal sailing knowledge, and very little knowledge on sibs in particular, but learning a lot from you guys here, other forums and of course Youtube.

With a special shout out to The inspirational Donny in the Gunard, Guppy and more recently Grey Gunard whos adventures (with cameos from Gordon and of course Fang)……Ive been following for some time.

Thanks for now.

Hi and welcome to the forum. As you have discovered Donny just about tells you all you need to know about sibbing in Scotland.
