Zodiac Clear Screen?

Do they still make these clear screens (bottom right image)?
I want one for my SIB!

Wow... blast from the past!

Haven't seen those screens for ages. Not sure how much protection they actually offer. They invariably get damaged with people getting on and off the boat, ropes catching them, etc. The latest Zodiac accessories guide doesn't list them. Might be possible to make one. Ask Nugent on here for a few tips. Think they used to be secured on the eyelets that are on the lace-cuff on the bow (if memory serves me right). More details here on making one: http://www.rib.net/forum/f8/acrylic-...een-46190.html

They dont produce them now, but they are very easy to make. We had one on my ZED 31 back in the early 80's, very fragile, used to break a couple per month !

£10 bit of acrilic from B&Q, 1/2 hour with a jigsaw and drill, job done.

Edit: Forgot to say make it in 2 pieces and lace it together.

Not looking for protection, looking for that 'LOOK', you know... the vintage one!
