Yes, you're right, unfortunately other than tiny outboards she needs an electric start and
i don't want a console or one of those side mounted steering kits in it, i'm trying to keep it as simple as possible, it's already starting to look like the inside of a handbag.

mariner 30 is much easier to start than the 40/50 triples and would go well on that . Thats my problem with the tatsu 50 the women can't start it .

Mind you she can't start a 3.5 hp lawnmower either

yes pretty sure its the same mate, same mariner / merc all the surf lifeguard boats use . Iam sure the yam 25 i had was the same motor too .

Also available as a Mariner Marathon 25hp std shaft tiller with manual start. Decent ones make around a grand. Revvy little beasts
