First rib

Hi all,
Looking at buying my first rib very soon, considering the boat world 330pro with or the bark same size. What’s the better of the two? Also does anyone have any experience with the Orca outboards? Boat world do a combi deal boat and motor.

Been looking at the Bark boats and they seem pretty well made.

Hi Darren and welcome to the forum.

Broadly speaking these SIBs will be of the same quality as they are both at the budget end.... nothing wrong with that.

The Orca outboard is a bit difficult to comment on... generally on this forum we are a bit against them as the Chinese outboards are yet to establish any sort of dealer network or reliability reputation in the UK.

What I can say is Boatworld are very supportive re after sales so if I were getting an Orca or similar I'd rather from them than an unknown Ebay seller.

Do you have any boating experience and are you thinking sea or river?

Hi, river first then maybe sea after experienced.
Tbh the boat world 330pro with the orca is such a cheap way into boating I’m seriously considering it.
Saying that I really like the new Honwave 38, is the Honwave much more superior to the boat world?
