i would go for an heavy duty boat for fishing

If you're considering new, and considering paying up to a grand then seriously look at the Honwave boats, highly regarded as one of the better brands and I'm certainly very happy with my 3.8 which I bought here last year:

I bought a yam 3.83 in 2001 and married it up with a mariner 25 two stroke.

She was great and still going string today I believe. took four divers on short runs, plenty of hours on safety covers and pulling toys, had loads of fun and thought she was a great toy.

I think the condition will dictate if the one you are looking at is a rubbish build or a better one.

Others have mentioned honwaves, I personally like the Quicksilver range of sibs but which ever one you go for make sure it'll do what you want, not what we think is best.

I have a Yam 380s and it's very capable boat, i have a mariner 25 and 20hp, I mostly use the 25hp on the Yam and the 20hp on the Zodiac I also have.
