Bucklers Hard - Now I understand

I have read many times about people using the slipway at Bucklers Hard and have tried to visit a couple of times only to be confronted with a barrier and keypad. Went again today and now we understand. If the weather improves this week we will have a little trundle up the Beaulieu River in the Honwave T38.

This is what we learnt for all those that might also have wondered.

Cost to use slip in and out is £25 total including parking so not too bad I think

You get the code when you have paid at the marina. I think you also get a parking ticket to go on your dash. I have launched there once. The estuary is quite scenic.

That’s as I understand it but now they prefer you to do it all online prior
