Beachmaster Wheels on 2021 Saturn MC365

I bought Beachmaster wheels for my Saturn MC365. The newer model of the Saturn has drain holes on the back that interfere with mounting plates on the wheels. I am considering cutting out the drain area on the mounting plate. Any suggestions on hw to mount these?

I wrote a long reply then looked up the boat and saw it has outside removable drain stoppers, so the only way would be to cut out the backplate on the beachmasters, if you spacered the backplate off the transom a small amount you may get away with just making a stopper size hole in the backplate.

Personally I'd sell the BeachMaster wheels and buy a more suitable wheel that fits onto the transom without interfering with the drain holes.
No matter how well you cut the backplate, you wil weaken the structure and invalidate the warranty.
