Fully synthetic is the most important bit to me, also marine oils are developed to be biodegradable - apparently! I always used Quicksilver, expensive but good stuff.

Here's a question;

10 years ago I had a 75hp Etec running on XD100 oil at £35 a can. I still have a full can.

I now have a Auto-lube Yamaha 90hp, can I use the XD100 I already have in my current engine without causing damage/problems?

Many thanks.

Afaik XD100 is still a TC-W3 oil, so should be compatible with any engine requiring that spec.
That said, you could probably sell the gallon of XD100 & buy 2 gallons of bog standard TC-W3 with the proceeds.
