Trailer for a bombard aerotec 380

Hi guys.

Im looking for some advice on a trailer for my bombard aerotec 380. I would really like to have the outboard on the transom during transport, is this possible with some sort of bracket to take the weight off the transom or am I asking for too much?

thanks for any and all help

If the transom is supported by the bunks and the boat is [mostly] inflated (to keep the transom fairly rigidly upright), the only issue will be penduluming of the motor while trailering. This can be minimized by using a "transom saver" type motor support bracket that triangulates the motor to the trailer frame. Tie downs from transom eyes to the trailer will help to firm up that triangle, making it fairly solid, and not likely to damage anything.

Suggest that you search for "380 trailer" - there seem to be lots of discussions about this already !

Might be a bit late now, but I have one of these and it's the business for my 380 with 20hp.
