Trailer coupling damper - what kind of grease to use?

Is there a specific type of grease I should be using for greasing the coupling damper via the grease nipples?

Would Fuchs Renolit EP2 Lithium grease, for instance, suffice?

Cheers.

Hi Jonny, any decent, lithium based grease would be fine. So if it's like this:

generic linky

Then yes, that'd be fine (but not at that price ). All the best

Thanks a lot for that mate. Very helpful. Yep that was exactly the stuff I was on about. A bit pricey indeed so have consulted the wonders of eBay which has come up trumps as usual.

Got the new axles on and all is just about ready to go!

Thanks again for your help earlier in the year with regards to my trailer, it's much appreciated pal.

J.
