trailer

ma trailer is nackered but it pulled of when i towed it down to north berwick from port edgar the main problem was the veichle as drive belt broke

Don't quite get what the problem was, I'm guessing you drove off with a hitch and a bow snubber in tow & left the rest behind?

If you have an extending / adjustable drawbar, I'd suggest changing those bolts annually if you do a lot of towing - I had a similar thing on a multi dinghy trailer (short for Oppies, long for Lasers kind of thing) and the bolts wore down at the point they go through the drawbar.

For the cost of a couple of nuts & bolts and 5 mins to change them it's not worth not doing.
