4P/ex or Swap! Trailer for Pacific 22 Good Condition

I am looking at a Rib which has a genuine Pacific 22 tandam axle trailer under it in good condition. I need a good lighter weight single axle trailer in swap or P/ex BUT it must be able to take a a 6.6 meter rib

I want to stress I have not bought it yet although a deal in principle has been done subject to a viewing next weekend. Knowing I could swap the trailer for a lighter version to bring the rig total weight down to a level my company car could tow would help my final decision easier. Please please no yard trailers I will need to transport my rib long distances.

Anybody got any interest let me know

It may help if you specify what GVW you need.

until I get the exact details off the rib When I see it I would expect it to be circa 1300 - 1500 kg

Is the trailer near you and built by CAN trailers by any chance?

It's quite rare for a trailer for a Pac 22 to be up for sale-most leave them on moorings as they are very heavy. There was one knocking around Gloucestershire that was for sale last year (and as far as I know didn't sell) built by CAN trailers who...well, let's say if you bought a trailer from him you'd be lucky if it's intact and hasn't damaged the boat or fallen apart while being towed if you try using it. The owner of CAN went AWOL about a year ago with huge debts.

Hope you find a swap. Mines only a 750kg un braked so no good. If you can afford maybe best to buy a trailer and then sell the other one.
This one looks spot on for you. LINK
