Strykers New Jet Ribs, Whos Got One

Thinking about buying this boat, Stryker 380 Hunter Jet, made for the jet outboards, looks really cool and tuff.

Anyone got one and is it worth $4800.00

Hunter JET 380

Note its not a rib but a sib.

Lotta money for an off-brand Chinese boat with zero warranty support.

The company is out of Canada, not sure if its made there or not, they claim the seams are welded PVC, and I like the extra thick material on the bottom on the jet models but the price does seem a little high but that's me, I think most name brand inflatables are high priced as well.

Nah, they're a distributor for a Chinese company.

Only a few of the air-holding seams will be welded.

Floor and transom will be glued (only Zodiac welds floors and transoms, and only on a few specific models).

The price would probably be in CAD then, so at least there's some savings there, but you'd get killed on shipping.

Inflatable Boat Center out of Portland, OR is who I'd be talking to. Mike Wheeler over there is a good guy.

Depends.

They have 5 factories for the recreational division.

Ayguevives, France : Cadet FR, Commando, Aerotec, Futura, Classic, PVC tubes
Enfidha, Tunisia : GRP hulls for global, CSM/CR tubes
Summerville, SC, US : GRP hulls for Americas, Avon Seasport Deluxe for global
2 x Factories in China : Cadet ALU+Aero+RU, Cadet RIB, Cadet ALU RIB, Typhoon, Zoom

I get a chuckle from it. Avon, which used to be a British brand, is now made in the USA.

They build Zodiacs here in British Columbia as well.

Delta-based boat builder can’t keep up with demand

That's Zodiac MilPro.

1 in British Columbia
