kidney belt/air gauge info requested

i just got back from Catalina, and kind of got a little beat up. anyone here ever try wearing a kidney belt?

I am also looking for a decent air guage to determine how mich air is in my tubes. the dealer says pump it up until it is hard, but i am looking for something with a little more accuracy.

thx

ZIP, I finaly have broken down I have just bought one of these gauges from NRS. They are great to order from and been nothing but superb when I needed anything, info or otherwise. I should have the gauge in a day or two. Will let you know how it works out. I have a avon sr 5.4 and a 4.0. Have always used the boats just by feel so will be nice to see just how much prssure i usually have in it
