Georgian bay cruise

Wow, what a summer its been . Warm and sunny.

Most of the little details on the 590 are now taken care of. I now have time to enjoy the results

The Hurricane 590 continue to impress. Easy to tow, capable and safe in rough weather.
1 mile per liter according to the fuel management gauge. Not bad.

Pics of a little Georgian Bay exploring this summer. Damm its nice up there.

Stoo we will get together one of these days.....life is busy.

Cheers,

DA

Dave, the boat is looking good. Where were these taken, down Parry Sound way?

We just returned from a few days in Killarney... nice trip not withstanding we were in dense fog most of the time!

Hi Stoo,

Dense fog...Yikes. A bit early for that but I guess it is turning a bit fallish.

Can I buy you a beer some time soon. We need to compare notes....

The pics are a bit of a mix. First one is on the dock in front of the little britt Inn in Britt. (a great spot for lunch and if you behave, free off season accomodation if you have dinner in the restauraunt, simple clean rooms)

The second is in a little spot just north of Point au Baril. A fifteen foot wide chanel opened up on this beautiful little bay. A great lunch spot.

The last is out front of moon river falls. As far up the river as we could go before walking a short distance to the falls.

Its been a fun season exploring more corners of the bay.

Cheers, Dave

Anytime... I'm in your neck of the woods regularly. You have my email yes?

We pondered extending our trip from Killarney down towards Britt, but the fog was brutal and as you know, there's more granite in that water than there is water. We intend to get up that way again in the next few weeks so if the weather behaves we might do it. I just need to sort out the fuel stop situation before we go...
