Where to buy electric connectors?

Hi all, can I ask where is best to buy marine connectors. I have a few boxes with small numbers in each but I wonder where you have bought multi selection boxes with a good number in, the type of size that you know even if you need allot but not sure which connector you want to use, that you will have enough? There are a couple around but wondered where you buy yours?

Thanks!

You’ll have to be more specific “marine connectors” is a broad church. In any event, 12volt Planet & Kojaycat are good starting places.

Yep those are the places I have generally ordered from, just wondered if they did larger selection boxes than I have found. There are very large bulk boxes with hundreds of insulated electrical cable connectors of various types online (places like eBay) but hard to know how good quality they are. Example of 12 Volt planets below;

+1 on what PD says. Vehicle Wiring Products is also an option.

Once you've identified what you want, it's always worth a look on Ebay but at the moment I stick with 12V Planet as their service has been very good.

I really like the idea of using Duetsch connectors but the range is so great I've yet to gather the courage to waste money buying stuff I don't need.

I find the selection boxes (like the ones at Xmas) contain quite a few that I don't want / need. I tend to over buy and then create my own selection box.

Yeah I think that’s what I’ll do, get the basic selection box, then add to it in bulk for the ones I use more often. Order being placed right now!

Good answers above.
RS and VWP are my primary choices, depending on what I need.
Farnell are also good.
