Software

Hi people, dont know if this is the right section? i am looking for and even wondering if it is possible to by the software for engine diagnostics of a Suzuki DF140. is it available to general public and if so where can it be purchased

I can't say for sure, but as a casual observer I would guess no.

Simply because if you start mucking about with it, the engine's emmissions will go bonkers, and could land the OEM in a LOT of hot water with the relevant authorities and huge fines.

Remember you used to get those plug- in boxes that came with a book of fault codes for cars? It's the same reason you can't buy them any more.......

9D280: You mean an OBD box? Pretty widely available here in the states. Unfortunately, I need both an OBD for an older car, and an OBDII for the newer ones. Rather petulantly, I have neither.

From a quick search, it appears that Suzuki is keeping their diagnostic software to themselves. It is available, but only to authorized mechanics. And apparently, they have problems getting it as well.
