Port or Starboard?

For a Transducer on the transom of a RIB thats a left hooker?

I think it's the Port Side.

Hi Andy, i asked the same question, the advice was it didnt matter,
put mine on the port side, works great even at full wot. another tip, try if possible to run the transducer cable seperately from the electrical circuits, so as not to cause interferance with the transducer, shouldnt be a problem with having two service ducts.

Ha Ha!

No hole though the deck, so no access

My last boat had the transducer on the Starboard, so I guess the Port side this time. The reson was double edged (Hey that's not a bad name "Double Edge") to seperate the signal cable from the electrics and I'm running out of room in the ducting as I found out today.

I'll stick it on the Port then

On the deck

I'm not proposing to have a bilge pump as such, I'll see how much water I get it it first. If I do need some sort of pump I'll probably sink a tube tho the deck and use a manual displacement pump, so there are no long term plans to make BIG holes
