Mariner/Mercury 3 wire gauges

We have a 2022 Mariner 115 CT fitted to our dive rib. The Rev and Trim gauges are daisy chained together via 3 wires (Red, Yellow & Blue). We're assuming that these are +12v, Data and 0v - is this correct?

If it is does anyone know what current can be drawn from +12V?

I think you can find a switched 12v + in the short aux loom (has bullet connectors) that comes out of the Throttle/ control box. Usually it is tucked away up into the console. I seem to remember though, I tapped into the purple (?) wire that feeds into the Smartcraft connector ? Use a meter to check

I would not cut or interfere with the Canbus wiring for the Smartcraft gauges

This pic shows (badly) the aux loom
