Lowrance transducer advise please.

Im looking at a transducer for my Lowrance HDS-7 Gen3, and have spoken to 2 retailers that have given completely conflicting advise!
Does anybody here know if a Lowrance hook 2 tripleshot transducer will work on my unit?
