I have the Garmin 45DV sounder/plotter. We all have our preferred makes but Garmin have been good for me.

If you are thinking of up to £200 you're halfway to a small plotter combo... worth stretching for that or the GPS mapping no use to you?

Agree plus check what's in the box some don't have transducer, cover, some offer with uk charts which is worth looking at as uk charts are £200 on top best to have the charts IMO especially if your fishing or crusing a new areas

Thanks lads.

I think im going to go with the garmin striker 4 it should do everything we need it for we will be fishing redcar, skinningrove, whitby area's and around here there is some great fishing to be had half mile upto a mile out.

We just need one to show us the bottom, the fish and water depth.

Sorry for late reply
