As Garmin seem to have discontinued the Bluechart maps, I'm faced with either using out of date charts (last updated 2008) or replacing the unit with something that will take Bluechart G2.
I don't really need any additional functionality but a bigger screen would be nice!
Ideally, I'd like to just unmount the existing unit (178C) and plug a new unit straight into the existing wiring.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a suitable replacement?
