Jon,
Look at Navman 3200 diesel
http://www.navman.com/Navman/Templat...____39323.aspx

Works the same as the Navman 3100 but with a second flow meter fitted on the return diesel line to the tank .

One flow meter sensor measures the flow from the tank to the engine and the second sensor measures the amount returned to the tank.
The 3200 unit calculates one from the other and gives the total burned.

With a NEMA 2 link to your GPS the 3200 unit can calculate total fuel used or miles / knots per gallon / litter.
I got my 3100 petrol unit from CH. Also available from most UK on line shops.

Sean.

Jon
do a search on here for flow scan as well, the NAvman seemed to gain a reputation for not being as good as it could be, can't remember exactly and I have not yet gained the funds to try one myself yet !

Not tried the diesel ones but had a couple of the petrol 2100s. They work well enough the problem is they are not hose pipe proof, water just seems to get inside and then its only a matter of time. So you need to be very careful when cleaning the rib.

The diesel one would be nice on Old Spice but its £500, thats a lot of red diesel.
