I have no idea but was asked today " currently own a 27ft motorboat with one working Volvo Penta AQ120/200 and I desperately need to find either another AQ120 or another Penta that will fit the 270 Outdrives that I currently have. From memory the AQ120 is the pushrod 2 litre B200 block (correct me if it's not the B200) that was fitted to the very late Volvo 144 cars. (like, pre '73.)

I have a haynes manual for the car somewhere.

Has he tried coastal rides. They deal in all sorts of s/h volvo stuff.

Failing that classic volvo forums.

Boats and outboards often have old volvos going cheap.

Is he after a complete engine with ancilliaries or just some parts?

The AQ 130 was the B20 block coupled with a 270 sterndrive. (Overbored pushrod engine from the P1800 with twin carbs)

The 200 drive is earlier than the 270.
