Weak tell-tale - gaskets gone?

The tell-tale on my engine has looked a bit weak over the last few months, so I decided to change the impellor. I've just done this but the tell-tale's just as as it was before. When taking everything apart I noticed the gaskets around the impellor housing were looking really nasty. I'm assuming the problem is here with water leaking out of the housing. Can someone confirm this before I order new gaskets (which I really should have done at the same time as the impellor )

If there's anyone with time on their hands and a manual to hand, the part numbers of the two gaskets would be great too

You need to check that there is no water leaking out around the top engine mounts, It might be that the Water pickup tube is not sitting in the bottom of the powerhead. Also make sure the sealing tube between the water pump and the bottom of the pick up tube is ok.

Can give you the part numbers as i dont know how old the engine is, Whats the serial number and i can tell you what the part numbers are.

Have you checked the Thermostat is ok, Or it could just be the tell tale hose (from the powerhead to the outlet) is blocked. This is quite common.

When I had the leg off I attached my flushmuffs. Water seemed to be entering the pump housing and leaking out of the bottom; where this dodgy looking gasket is.

It's not a blockage; I've already tried poking a bit of wire down it.
Will check the serial number......
