The DF115 Suzuki has an operating range of 5 to 6000 rpm. At 6200 you are about to hit the rev limiter. If 6200 rpm is your max rpm going to a 23 pitch prop will bring the revs down by 4 to 500 rpm approx. You will then be in the correct rev range at wot. Just a thought, are you sure you have not got cavitation, a slipping prop bush or lumps out of the prop. As these things will cause the prop to slip. If all OK you will need to go to the larger pitch prop.
Aquatec.

Hi thanks for that aquatec, yes it will rev up to 6200 very fast, but i dont use it up there though.prop is good and no cavitation, at all. at the moment i only rev it to abt. 5000 max. so ill try a 14x23 if i can get one. cheers for info
