O ring / seal help

Hello again.

I removed the lower leg from my Alpha one Gen 2 outdrive for the skeg repair and managed to loose the small O ring/seal from what seems to be the oil port.
Does anyone know of any dealers that would have one.
A quick google search came up with 3.
2 havent replied back after 4 days
1 said it comes as part of a kit with bearings in at £130

Any suggestions
Thanks Pete

Is it one of these ones ? The one that normally goes missing is the water seal on the port side

Not sure if that particular one will fit you unit, was the first I came across but there's plenty to search from

I won't bother with an oem marine kit, if you can take the unit to your local bearing dealer they should be able to find you an o ring that fits at a fraction of the price.

I use my bearing dealer for all sorts of o rings, bearing and seals.

Agree, just bring in the bung to get the right size.
Ask for Viton if you can. It will last longer in an oily environment than Buna-N

Thanks Pete
That's the one guy who had one in stock (Lance) But unfortunately I can't seem to get him to post it.Think it's more hassle than its worth!
Regarding using a standard O ring from a bearing supplier. From what I've picked up from the net it seems to have a shape/form to it rather than just an O ring.
Thanks
Pete

The listing states postage available but I assume you mean just the O Ring ? I'd buy the kit as you can change the gasket anyway.

Oh I thought you meant you'd dropped the entire unit, my mistake.

Glad your sorted. Peter
